Victim Aid Denmark (Hjælp Voldsofre)

Help Violence victims are a nationwide, voluntary and independent association that has existed since 1981.
The association works to help victims who have been subjected to personal-related crimes such as violence, robbery, rape and other sexual assaults.

This is done, among other things. with the help of counseling and guidance, help for relatives, networks, aftercare, contact with the municipality, contact with public authorities, psychology assistance and legal assistance.

In addition to the above, Help Victims also runs actual projects / courses aimed at helping victims come back to life.
The association is the neutral platform of the victim of violence and can offer the closeness and security needed to give each victim the opportunity to gain a concrete understanding of their situation and not feel like the “only one in the world”.

The association’s active efforts make a difference – we reach out to the victims and listen to them, and in addition we have activities and meetings that give the victim a sense of being part of a community – we create the framework for social and cultural experiences for the victims.
