Since its founding almost 30 years ago, the Working Group on Victim Aid (ado) has been the forum for institutions that provide advice to victims of crime. During this time, the greatest expertise in Germany for the care, advice and support of crime victims has accumulated.

This forum is therefore also used by a wide range of specialists: from advisors who are responsible for all victims of crime, to projects that support and advise victims of extreme right-wing violence, from gay advice centers that are only open to injured men, to towards victim-victim compensation programs that primarily want the interests of victims to be taken into account when dealing with conflicts between perpetrator and victim.

The website is intended to facilitate the path to this expertise. It should be of use to all those who want to ensure this competence, be it as a judicial institution or social institution. At the same time, it means an offer to all those institutions that already work professionally in advising and supporting victims of crime and who want to expand the network of counseling centers. All professional workers are invited to join the working group on victim support in Germany and to make the experience of their work accessible to others.
